How to make lip gloss?

I want to make lip gloss. Can I make a lip gloss with vaseline and whatever flavor I want? I.E. coca, vanilla, mint, cranberry, ect.


What are some good lip gloss recipes using beeswax and vaseline.


Please NO VITAMIN E CAPSULE'S!!!





Any other recipes using the stuff i have above and with flavor. Please answr the above question too!

Vaseline+eyeshadow.How to make lip gloss?
To make lip gloss you'll need


- Petroleum jelly (Vaseline)


- Lip gloss containers


- A microwave-safe dish (preferably one with a spout)


- Microwave


- Spoon





You can add these to your liking:





- Lipstick or Kool Aid for color


- Sparkles and/or glitter


- A bit of honey and/or vanilla, mint or almond extract for flavor





To make the lip gloss:





1. Place petroleum jelly into the microwavable container


2. If you are using lipstick, use a knife to shave off some lipstick scrapings and add them to the petroleum jelly


3. Microwave the petroleum jelly until it's melted enough to mix your ingredients together


4. Add glitter, Kool Aid, and flavoring (optional)


5. Mix well.

- 1 tablespoon grated beeswax


- 1 tablespoon coconut oil


- 1/8 teaspoon vitamin E oil (not capsules, lol)


- 1/8 teaspoon vanilla extract





+ Cranberry Lip Gloss


- 1 tablespoon almond oil


- 10 fresh cranberries


- 1 teaspoon honey


- 1 teaspoon petroleum jelly

It's good that you have beeswax and Vaseline. Petroleum is a popular ingredient in lip glosses, because of the sheen it gives off. Beeswax is very moisturizing and positive for your lips' health.

You can mix vaseline with a drop of food colouring or lip stain and food flavouring as these are all edible (though you arent exactly meant to eat them!) and you have to mix it ALOT because vaseline doenst mix well with outher substances. Heating it gently with a hairdryer helps to mix it to, but believe me you have to mix for ages to get it eventually a smooth colour, I have done it myself!

yeahh i just use vaseline with flavoring stuff :) and sometimes pink food coloring or something :))
