Does putting on lip GLOSS make your lips dry?

Does it? I've kind of been using lip gloss instead of lip balm because I ran out, so I'm wondering.Does putting on lip GLOSS make your lips dry?
it has a LOT of chemicals in it that dry out your lips, it's meant for show not to moisturize





definitely lay off the gloss for a while.





if your lips are a bit chapped and you run out of lip balm, use vaseline or baby oil or even avocado!

some kinds, yes. you can buy lip glosses that moisurize at the same time, like burts bees or body shop or softlips. things that are made based like the smells and tasts of pops and stuff like dr. pepper and the ice cream ones you can buy and lip smackers and all those ones will dry your lips out if you use them too much
Yep. It's designed to do that so that you constantly have to put more on. Do not substitute lip gloss for lip balm. They have two totally different purposes. Try using vasaline. It works just like lip balm, if not better, and even adds a bit of shine.
Yes, even chap stick makes your lips dry out. They do not let your lips breathe and they become flaky and gross. Buy some natural lip moisturizer, or just use vaseline.
it depends. some of the cheap stuff can really ruin your lips but the good stuff won't dry out your lips at all. try can get some chapstick, it's the best!
I dont think so but you can always wear lip balm underneath the lipgloss.
No it actually makes them really moist and shimmery. And the boys love soft smooth lips!
